Brief
The requirement was to create an impactful opening sting of under 15 seconds, incorporating the visual elements designed for the 2025 LIVE event, as requested by the video, marketing, and design teams.
Discussions
The hero image for the event centered around two semi-circular shapes, which were intentionally open to interpretation ranging from light cast on a wall to two entities coming together. I spoke with the Head of Design to understand his vision for the opening sting, and he was open to exploring any concept I brought forward.
Concept
After a few discussions, I conceptualized a narrative around the hero image, imagining the two semi-circular shapes as celestial bodies in space representing two distinct entities, such as businesses and clients converging to reveal the Info-Tech LIVE event logo.
Outcome/Impact
The opening sting received strong positive feedback from both attendees and the Info-Tech team during and after the event. The Head of Design highlighted it in the Microsoft Teams group chat as his favorite among all the animations created. In addition to the opening sting, I delivered the main stage animations along with content for other event screens.
