Problem
The client operates an export business for marble showpieces and required high-quality 3D renders based on CAD drawings for use in marketing brochures, despite a very limited budget.
Detailing
The client reported that a recent set of renders sent to them by someone did not accurately match the CAD designs. Key details—such as the rose motifs near the heart shapes and the detailing in the base area—were either missing or incorrect.
The Approach
Upon receiving the brief, I explored generating the outputs using AI as an alternative to traditional 3D modeling. Although Nano Banana produced results close to the desired outcome, the base detailing was not sufficiently captured. I addressed this by using Photoshop and regenerating the images in Nano Banana
Outcome
The method of using Nano Banana & Photoshop to achieve the results worked really well. A traditionally time taking process which would've taken 1 or 2 days at least to finish was easily done with the help of AI within an hour.
